Ben Garcia is the Team Leader, Education and Group Programs, at Intellectual Disability Rights Service.

He has extensive experience assisting people with intellectual disability in their dealings with police, solicitors and courts as well as facilitating training and peer support networks with people with intellectual disability. Ben develops and delivers training to criminal justice agency workers including police, solicitors and court staff.

He has a background as a youth worker and a Community Educator and is a qualified teacher of English as a foreign language and has a Masters in Social Work.
