Your Contact Information

We must have a correct email address and phone number for you in order to provide confirmation. This is our main method of contacting you. Please ensure that the email address you provide us with is one that you check regularly. If you provide your own email address when registering a colleague, you will be responsible for passing on any information on to your colleague, including any course cancellations.

Acknowledgement of Registrations

In the case of online registrations, an automatic email is generated notifying you that your registration has been received. If you registered online and have not receive a notification email, please contact CCWT by phone to verify that we have received your registration.

If you register by email you will receive an acknowledgement email when your registration has been processed.

If you register by fax or post please call us on 02 9281 8822 to ensure we have received your registration.

Please note that an acknowledgment is not the same as a confirmation (see below).

Confirmation of Registrations

Confirmation will be sent by email two weeks prior to the commencement of the course. If you do not receive an email at this time please phone CCWT to confirm your registration. Participants who register less than 14 days before the commencement of the course will need to phone CCWT for confirmation.

If a Course is Full

If a course is full at the time that you register you will be automatically added to the waiting list and you will be advised of this. If a space becomes available we will notify you by phone or email. Places are offered to those on the waiting list in the order that they registered.

If you are not offered a place and you have paid the registration fee, we will contact you to offer a transfer to another course or a refund.

If a Course is Rescheduled or Moved

Course dates and venues must sometimes be changed for unforeseen reasons. We will notify you as soon as possible if a course is rescheduled or moved to a new venue. If these new arrangements do not suit you, you are eligible for a refund.

If a Course is Cancelled

We make every attempt to ensure that courses run. However CCWT reserves the right to alter any arrangements, including cancellation of courses if required. Courses are cancelled 14 days prior to the course date and all students advised of the cancellation by phone or email.

If You Are Travelling to a Course from a Distance

Do not book accommodation or travel until your course is confirmed 14 days before the course date. Very occasionally, a course is cancelled with less than 14 days notice due to factors completely beyond our control eg. trainer illness. We will make every reasonable effort to advise you of a cancellation or change.

If a course is cancelled with less than 14 days notice due to a presenter’s illness and you have paid for your travel or accommodation you must contact the Director of CCWT on or before the day of training to discuss reimbursement.

Substitutions

Substitutions can be arranged by written request from participants. A completed registration form is required by the replacement student.

Transferring to Another Course

Please choose your course carefully. Once registrations are processed, transfers will usually only be made when you have paid for the registration and:

  • a course is cancelled, or the course date is changed by CCWT
  • a written request from you is received by CCWT 15 or more days prior to the course
  • a medical certificate is provided in the event of illness or misadventure

Requests for transfers, including in other exceptional circumstances, must be made to the Registrations Officer via email: registrations@acwa.asn.au

Only one transfer per person per course is available, unless there are exceptional circumstances.

Withdrawing from a Course

If you withdraw from a course less than 15 days before the starting date and a medical certificate is provided, the course fee is refundable.

Without a medical certificate, credit towards another course will only be considered in exceptional circumstances.

You make that request in writing to the Registrations Officer via email: registrations@acwa.asn.au

Non-attendance at a Course

Full or partial non-attendance of registered participants who have not arranged with CCWT for substitution, transfer or withdrawal prior to the start of the course will incur the full registration fee.

Paying for Your Registration

While you do not have to submit payment with an online registration, your registration will not be confirmed until arrangements for payment have been made.

Bulk Discounts for Webinars

Bulk discount for webinars is applicable if you are registering into 3 or more webinars or if your organisation is registering more than 3 participants into one webinar.

Registration Payment Credits

When a student withdraws from a course and payment has been made, the payment becomes a credit. Credits are valid for twelve months from the date of the course for which the credit request is made. During that period credits can be put toward the cost of other registrations by the same payer (service or individual). Please be aware that fees for courses are subject to annual change. If you register for a course in the following calendar year that has an increased fee, you will need to pay the difference.

Registration Refunds

All refunds will incur a $25 administration fee, except where a course has been cancelled by CCWT. Qualification registrations are subject to different refund conditions.

Requests for refunds must be made to the Registrations Officer via email: registrations@acwa.asn.au.

Invoices and Receipts

The completed Registration Form is a Tax Invoice and a copy should be retained for taxation purposes. Receipts are not issued unless requested.

If registering online, services may request to be invoiced for training provided that a payment method has been nominated. Contact the Registrations Officer on 02 9281 8822 for more information.
