Erin Holloway

Erin is a member of the Lighthouse Institute Training and Consultancy Team. Currently she is the clinical consultant for the counselling service with Ambulance Victoria. She has worked extensively in community services and NGO’s including Mind Australia, Wesley Mission (Youth Services), and Lifeline.
She was previously the Senior Clinician and Clinical Supervisor with MacKillop Family Services Psychology Clinic. Erin has a wide range of experiences as a clinical supervisor, a trainer across a range of services, a mentor for the Swinburne Academic Personal Best program, and researcher. She has also played an integral role in the development and implementation of online crisis and support service.
Erin has an interest in how people recover from adversity and mental illness that stemmed from her work with young people, and she completed a PhD on the subject. She has special interests in Positive Psychology and consumer-driven research, and in particular, peoples unique journey and subjective experiences and how this can assist recovery. Erin also has a passion for trauma-informed practice and creating safe and supportive organisations and environments for recovery.
