Currently Senior Clinician in the OOHC field. Simone currently sits and advises on Restricted Practices Panels.

As a Forensic Psychologist she has extensive experience working within restrictive environments such as prisons and juvenile justice centres as well as with foster care and residential care settings utilising restrictive practices.

Simone has extensive knowledge of the legislative requirements as well as the process and impact such practices have on children and young people who have experienced trauma. She is focused on assessing the need for restrictive practices and if required implementing them in accordance with a trauma informed approach.

Simone has extensive experience and knowledge working with complex presentations and challenging behaviours. This has included children, young people, adults, personality disorder, behavioural disorders, self harming, violence, substance use etc.
