Self Care for Workers

Take some time out to nurture yourself and rejuvenate your energy levels. In this one day workshop you will experience a variety of interactive activities that promote self awareness and healthy self care habits. You will also explore the impact of acute or chronic stress on the brain and body, and develop strategies for dealing with stressful situations.

This workshop will give participants the opportunity to:

  • Define both stress and self care
  • Measure their current stress levels and potential impacts on their lives
  • Understand the impacts of burnout, and secondary and vicarious traumatisation
  • Develop emotional awareness
  • Enhance their debriefing and cognitive re-framing skills
  • Improve their boundary setting
  • Reflect on what matters most to them
  • Develop a realistic self care plan
