  • Plan, implement and review a quality assurance program (BSBMGT521)

Please note: This course is only available via credit card payment at the time of registration. Students will receive a self paced learning guide and assessment booklet and can access support through the CCWT team.

Quality assurance processes can have a bad name for being “just about compliance”, being expensive and time consuming, and for being a way of “catching you doing something bad”. However a quality assurance program can also mean higher quality service provision, efficient use of resources and continuously improving and evolving programs. This course will guide you through the process of identifying appropriate quality indicators, implementing strategies that are compatible with current work practices, and reviewing the results.

In this course you will:

  • Learn about the principles and theories that underpin quality assurance programs
  • Identify quality assurance objectives for your team or organisation
  • Investigate appropriate sources of information to guide your quality assurance process
  • Consider the impact of organisational culture and values on quality assurance processes and identify strategies to minimise adverse effects
  • Learn about appropriate systems to record and report results and gather feedback
  • Develop effective review procedures
  • Explore the communication and relationship building tools that support quality assurance processes
