Tatyana Leist
Resume
Tatyana is a forensic psychologist with several years' experience working with a range of offenders, including offenders with cognitive disability. As a psychologist with Corrective Services NSW, she has worked with offenders with cognitive disability to ensure they receive equal access to psychological services. Tatyana worked in a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that people exiting custody do so with adequate social, financial, medical and psychological support.
She is passionate about working with offenders with cognitive disability but recognises how challenging it can be, and believes that the “Custody to Community for People with Cognitive Disability” course is key in assisting those who work with this challenging client group to deliver effective services and support the clients' transition into the community.
Tatyana has a Bachelor of Psychology, a Masters in Forensic Psychology and a background in youth work and education.
