Lesley Furneaux-Cook, the Manager of CCWT’s Diploma of Leadership and Management describes how this Nationally Recognised Diploma is designed for those who work or aim to work, as managers in community service organisations, but is also transferable across sectors.

Qualifications Available

Our qualifications are selected and targeted to those working in the community sector. Whether you are a new comer or an experienced worker, we offer something for you.

BSB51915 Diploma of Leadership & Management

The Diploma of Leadership & Management is designed for those who work or aim to work, as managers, coordinators, team leaders in community services organisations, however it is transferrable across other sectors. You will learn about leadership, emotional intelligence, policies, people management, projects and plans.

CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services

This qualification reflects the roles of community services, case management and social housing workers involved in managing, coordinating and/or delivering person centred services to individuals , groups and communities.

CHC50313 Diploma of Child, Youth & Family Intervention

This qualification covers the knowledge and skills needed to work with children, young people and their families. There is an option to specialise in residential out of home care. People undertaking this qualification may supervise staff and have other management responsibilities.

CHC42015 Certificate IV in Community Services

This qualification is for workers who provide a range of services and community education and interventions. Work may take place in a range of contexts such as community based organisations, residential rehabilitation and outreach services.

CHC40313 Certificate IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention

This qualification covers the knowledge and skills needed to work with children, young people and their families. There is an option to specialise in residential out of home care.

Our fast track workshops for the Diploma of Leadership and Management and Diploma of Community Services offer a unique combination of an intensive workshop and distance electives.
