To view the RTO’s scope of accredited courses, visit the Registered Training Organisations website.
Nationally Recognised Training is any program or training that leads to vocational qualifications and credentials that are recognised across Australia. Student Handbook
The Student Handbook provides information for current and prospective students. This handbook is primarily for those undertaking nationally recognised training and/or assessment with CCWT. It provides an overview of what you need to know about learning with us, who to contact as well as providing you with other useful information about your rights and responsibilities, the complaints and appeals process and our services.
Specific details about each accredited course are provided in the relevant Course Information Brochure and on our course directory.
Course applications
Most RTO programs include an application process to allow CCWT to measure the suitability of the selected course. Some RTO programs require students to meet minimum English language levels before enrolment, some have specific requirements such as computer skills, pre-requisite training, access to specific workplace activities and resources. For some courses, interviews are conducted to discuss course requirements and expectations.
Support and wellbeing
CCWT is committed to providing all students with the support that they need to be successful in their studies. CCWT has a dedicated Student Support Team who can assist with support in accessing the digital learning platforms or planning your study pathway.
Students are encouraged to discuss their support needs with the Student Support team during the application process or with their Trainer and Assessor during induction to allow us to explore any reasonable adjustments that can be made to better support students.
The RTO offers a range of support services:
- One on one support from trainers/assessors
- Referral to relevant external services e.g. specialist sources of support for English language development
Complaints and Appeals
We strive to continually improve all aspects of what we do. VET students are encouraged to provide feedback throughout their enrolment. Additionally, formal complaint and appeals processes are available. Complaints and appeals are investigated and resolved using fair and objective processes to achieve resolution in a timely manner. Please contact the Student Support team to initiate the process at training@ccwt.edu.au
