Vicarious Trauma in the Workplace and Self Care

“Taking care of yourself doesn’t mean ‘me first’, it means me too.” L.R. Knost This practical workshop is aimed at supporting workers to recognise, prevent and address vicarious trauma. Participants will practice strategies that increase the capacity to regulate self and increase a state of calm. This workshop aims to:

  • Identify activities and practices that give energy, lower stress, and contribute to wellbeing.
  • Develop a better understand of stress triggers and strategies to maintain calm under pressure.
  • Strengthen commitments to personal health and well-being.
