NFP Sustainability and Transition Leadership Program

The NFP Sustainability and Transition Leadership Program will bring together small groups of NFP leaders working through dynamic and changing environments in policy and funding arrangements, operational context and post-pandemic response and fundraising. This is a program focused on supporting sector leaders to work through challenges, support one another, gain additional knowledge and develop a strong peer support network. The objectives of the program are to:

  • Support sector readiness and planning for change in policy, operation, and funding that constantly impact on NGOs
  • Create a confidential, supportive community of practice for NFP leaders to work through changes, and to strengthen organisations to be resilient and adaptable in the face of change, or to identify alternative pathways for sustaining programs
  • Create professional development opportunities for NFP leaders to improve organisational resilience

Focusing on the four pillars of organisational sustainability and with a focus on leadership through change, the group will work through thinking, planning, and testing approaches to:

  • strategic sustainability
  • financial sustainability
  • organisational sustainability
  • service delivery sustainability

Structure of the Program: Initial one day workshop Initial individual coaching session Regular online 2 hour group sessions with 3 - 4 other participants Fortnightly 15 - 30 minute check-in with your coach Completion one day workshop
