UNDERSTANDING THE NDIS (101) - a two part Webinar series

In partnership with DCJ, AbSec and the NDIS, these webinars will be presented by Ally O'Rourke, a senior leader from the National Disability Insurance Agency.  The webinars are aimed at practitioners, and may be particularly valuable for Case Managers. You are welcome to attend one or both of the webinars. The format will be an in-depth webinar, followed by plenty of opportunity for exploring some specific case studies and taking general and specific questions you may have.

This is the second webinar, which has a very practical focus on getting the most out of the scheme for our young people, with an emphasis on leaving care. In this webinar, Ally will be joined by Melissa Shina from DCJ, with a focus on Caseworker responsibilities, including tools and checklists

The webinar will include:

  • Plan implementation - using the plan, building capacity, service bookings
  • What to do before a young person is leaving care / transitioning to independence
