This qualification reflects the roles of people who work directly with clients in the child and family welfare context. It is most suitable for entry level staff who do not supervise others as part of their work role.

It is possible to undertake a specialisation in residential care, which is aimed at people who work in out of home care residential programs with young people. You can also choose a generalist range of elective units.

Courses are offered through a blended approach – with distance kits and some face to face workshops. A fully online program may be avaialble on enquiry. CCWT encourages students to apply for recognition of prior learning (RPL) where possible.

All applicants must apply and complete pre-enrolment processes in order to be confirmed into this qualification.
Smart and Skilled funding may be available dependent on eligibility and availability.
